Let's suppose that you are an athlete who wants to prepare for a big competition or just a regular person who would like to lose some weight. For both cases, you would need to work out and do certain exercises on a daily basis. You would also have to be on a strict diet in order to be able to do those exercises more quickly. For managing all these tasks, you could use a notebook and a pen, but on the long run, this approach isn't very good. A much better idea would be to use a specialized software for managing workout activities. One of these programs is Private Coach.

This intuitively named Windows program allows you to keep track and organize all your sports activities and make up meal plans, so that you will be in top shape when a certain contest demands it. Besides that, the program can help anyone lose weight, allowing one to make up exercise schedules and meal plans.

The interface of Private Coach seems very simple to use. When run for the first time, the program will ask the user to enter some details about himself, like his name, age, height, weight and so on. This information will allow the program to keep track of his weight loss and other personal improvements.

After completing this first-time wizard, the user can start adding exercises and also meal plans. Private Coach is able to automatically calculate the amount of calories necessary per day according to the person's weight or height. Using this information, one will be able to design perfectly balanced meals that are perfectly suitable for certain types of exercises.

Private Coach supports creating an unlimited number of meal plans for each athlete and managing them all using a single interface.

Pros

It allows managing all the sports activities and meal plans of an athlete. What's more, the program can automatically recommend the daily calories needed for an athlete, by analyzing his weight and height.

Cons

The program cannot work without creating an online account for each athlete. Private Coach is a very useful tool for managing all the sports activities and meal plans of an athlete.
